Prof. Dr. Sutay Yavuz, the Chair of the Department of Sociology at ASBU, held an official meeting last week with officials from the Embassy of the Kingdom of Denmark.

Within the scope of the meeting, comprehensive evaluations were made regarding Türkiye's current demographic structure and the process of "population transformation." During the discussions, which covered topics such as population aging, changes in fertility rates, and the impact of this transformation on social policies, ideas were exchanged on academic knowledge sharing and potential future joint projects.

Our department continues to maintain dialogues with international institutions to analyze social changes on a global scale.
