The Contemporary Debates in the Sociology of Crime-III, organized by the Crime and Security Research Association, will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at 8:00 PM via Zoom. This session will focus on the critical issue of Violence Against Women and Femicide.

The event will be moderated by Sociologist Miray Zekiroğlu, and our department chair, Prof. Dr. Sutay Yavuz, will participate as a speaker. Prof. Dr. Seda Öz Yıldız and Dr. Gözde Kestellioğlu will also contribute to the discussion, exploring the topic from various perspectives.
