As the Sociology Department of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities at Social Sciences University of Ankara (ASBU), we are excited to organize the third annual event, which strengthens undergraduate students' scientific research experience.
During the fall semester, our students, under the guidance of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tuba Duman and Res. Asst. Doğucan Bayram, identified their research topics, designed a study, collected data through fieldwork, completed their analyses, and transformed their work into an academic presentation. This program, developed to provide students with hands-on experience in conducting scientific research and presenting their work in an academic environment, has been successfully ongoing for three years.
This year's student event will be held on Tuesday, December 16th, in the Sezai Karakoç Hall of the ASBU Rectorate Building. The event will be held in English. The program flow is as follows:
9:30 AM – 12:00 PM • Session I (7 presentations)
1:30 PM – 4:00 PM • Session II (7 presentations)
Our department invites all our valued professors, interested students, and academics to this special event to support student work and contribute to a scientific discussion environment. We thank you in advance for your participation and the feedback you will provide to our students.
