Our Department Chair, Prof. Dr. Sutay Yavuz, appeared as a guest on the Haber Analiz program, broadcast live on Diyanet TV on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at 11:00 PM.

During the program, key issues such as the declining fertility rate in Turkey, the potential consequences of a shrinking youth population, and possible policy responses were discussed. Prof. Dr. Yavuz provided an in-depth sociological evaluation of Turkey’s demographic transformation within both national and global contexts. He elaborated on the implications of population aging for family structure, economic conditions, and social life, while also commenting on policy practices implemented around the world and in Turkey.
