Our Faculty Member Prof. Dr. Sutay Yavuz, attended the 2023-2028 Turkey Child Rights Strategy Document and Action Plan preparatory meeting organized by the Ministry of Family and Social Services, General Directorate of Child Services on September 30, 2022 and shared his views.

Applied Social Research Master's Program graduated its first student. Our student Aysima Çalışan successfully defended her thesis titled "Gender, Deskilling & Forced Migration: A Study of the Experiences of Refugee Women in Turkey" on September 30, 2022. We congratulate our student and wish her success in the METU Sociology PhD Program.
