Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tuba Duman, a faculty member in the Department of Sociology at Social Sciences University of Ankara, has made notable academic contributions throughout 2025 through her scholarly publications and conference presentations.
Among her 2025 publications is a co-authored article with Research Assistant Ceylin Özyurt, published in İçtimaiyat, which examines the “Reuse” initiative at ASBU in the context of alternative consumption and environmental awareness. In addition, Dr. Duman authored a book chapter on Islamic feminism and women’s NGOs, included in the edited volume Civil Society and Women.
She also presented several papers at national and international academic events, covering a diverse range of topics including migration, family, media, and gender. These presentations reflect both theoretical and empirical engagements with pressing sociological issues.
