As part of the ASBÜ Sociology Department Seminars-V series, our department hosted an interactive and awareness-focused event: "Year of the Family and 'Knowing Myself' Workshop."
The esteemed speaker for the workshop was Tolunay Sandıkcıoğlu, a Teacher from the Ankara Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Services (Ankara Aile ve Sosyal Hizmetler İl Müdürlüğü). The event consisted of two main parts:

Year of the Family and Institutional Introduction: Ms. Sandıkcıoğlu provided detailed information on the current work carried out by the Ministry of Family and Social Services and the "Year of the Family" concept, while also introducing the institution's activities.

Knowing Myself Workshop: In this interactive session, participants engaged in an active study on core topics such as personality traits, discovering potential, and establishing healthy boundaries in interpersonal relationships. They also had the opportunity to gain deep self-insight through practical applications such as calculating their existence values and life scale.
