Our department head, Prof. Dr. Sutay Yavuz, appeared as a guest on the podcast titled "Europe: The Great Demographic Decline," broadcasted by the French news channel RFI. In the podcast, she shared her insights on demographic trends in Turkey, discussing the implications of Europe's demographic shifts and their reflections in Turkey. The article titled "Feminization of Labour Migration from Uzbekistan to Turkey: The Role of Neoliberal Policies, Patriarchy and Social Networks" by Prof. Dr. Şebnem Akçapar, one of the faculty members of our department, has been published in the SSCI-indexed journal Central Asian Survey.
