Our Faculty Member Prof. Dr. Sutay Yavuz talked about the recent neighbor murders in Ankara in his interview with A Haber on November 28. In his statement, Prof. Dr. Sutay Yavuz emphasized the risks posed by individual armament and the need to take preventive measures in this regard. While discussing this event sociologically, he underlined that, the meaning of the house as a private space and the traditional understanding of the neighborhood culture has have changed especially after the pandemic.

Res. Asst. Doğucan Bayram attended BUSOC 2023 - International Congress of Sociology with his presentation entitled "Exploring the Significance of Nonhumans in Sociological Analysis: Expanding the Boundaries of Social Ontology and Sociological Methodology".

Doğucan Bayram entitled "Continuities and Transformations in Sociology Teaching with a Social Research Dimension in Turkey".
