As the Sociology Department of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities at Social Sciences University of Ankara (ASBU), we are excited to organize the third annual event, which strengthens undergraduate students' scientific research experience.
A joint study by Prof. Dr. Şebnem Akçapar, a faculty member in the Sociology Department, and Dr. F. Tutku AYDIN BEZİKOĞLU, a faculty member in the Political Science and Public Administration Department, has been published in the internationally respected SSCI-Indexed Turkish Journal of International Relations.
This article, which comparatively addresses the post-2022 Ukrainian migration during a two-year research period, was supported as a BAP Project by our university. We are pleased to share it with interested readers.
The 18th National Social Sciences Congress, hosted by the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Middle East Technical University (METU), was held between September 24–26, 2025. The congress brought together researchers from across the social sciences to share insights on various themes related to society, structure, and human interaction.
The 11th National Sociology Congress, jointly organized by the Sociology Association and Bursa Uludağ University, was held between September 17–19, 2025, under the theme "Social Transformations and Possibilities: New Problematiques of Sociology." The congress brought together scholars and researchers from across Turkey to engage in critical discussions on evolving social dynamics.
